What is FICM tuning?
FICM tuning is the last piece of the puzzle when looking for better repsonse, less lag, and overall efficiency in your Ford 6.0L Powerstroke Diesel. With Inductive heating, you'll notice better cold starts!
Do you need FICM Tuning?
No, you don't need FICM tuning. The PCM tuning will get you 90% of the performance and response. However, FICM tuning will fill in the gaps of what can't be done in PCM tuning. The reason is, the FICM is the final determination of how your 6.0L Powerstroke is fueled. With PCM tuning, we request what we would like, the FICM decides what you'll get. With FICM tuning, we can help with the decision making to deliver exactly what wer're asking for.
What makes ID FICM Tuning different than other options?
Our FICM tuning was built many years ago, before most even knew what it was. We tested our FICM calibrations on the dyno, at the track, and via emissions testing. All of our calibrations are efficient and dialed in perfectly for any tuning.

We offer programs ranging from a mild tow, for safely towing heavy loads, to a fun daily driver with the quickest acceleration. Our tuning is all emissions intact, so there is no need to remove any emissions equipment from your vehicle.

We will not disable O2 sensors or CEL that stem from the lack of catalytic converters or EGR delete.
The ficm tune gives my 6.0 better throttle, quicker turbo spool and is a great add with my ID steet tune. Will find out how it will be with my ID tow tune. Really enjoying, can't wait to see what mpg will be.
I ordered a tow & street tune, as well as a 40HP Inductive FICM tune for my 6.0 Powerstroke.
The tow tune was loaded first as I was out on vacation with my 16K 5th wheel. The tow tune felt smooth like the stock tune, but the truck is so much more responsive. It downshifts with ease, and loves to cruise in 4th gear locked. It was also awesome to see that the fan logic was changed to keep the coolant temps down in the 190’s. Im definitely satisfied with the tow tune.
When I loaded the street tune I didn’t really know what to expect. I’ve driven some other tunes that made the throttle super sensitive and I was hoping it wouldn’t be that way. Im happy to report, it’s definitely not. It seems like if I keep the throttle under 35% or so it drives like a stock truck (albeit it gets better fuel economy), and when I exceed 35% the truck wakes up like a wild animal and I have more than enough power to merge, pass, etc. All in all, I’m in love with it.
The FICM tune has made the truck much easier to cold start.
